What a gorgeous fall day this was celebrating Rachel and Matt! This day was decorated with classic beauty and was filled with touching emotion. These two opted not to do a First Look until they saw one another at the altar at the Basilica of St. Mary. Even though the classic First Look was missing, Rachel had some of the best moments with her bridesmaids and father seeing her for the first time. *Cue the tears with her First Look with her dad* In addition, the elderly club-members snuck in a First Look since they were playing cards next door. It made for such a touching and funny moment at the beginning of the day (see the photos below for cuteness)!
Let’s talk about style! Black tuxedos and bridesmaid dresses, coupled with classic white florals were the perfect backdrop to the ever-timeless Minikahda club. Their east-coast style reception added a unique flare to this midwest wedding. They were welcomed into their reception with trumpets and led right into their first dance, where they welcomed all their guests to join and party with them before dinner service even began. The evening ended with Matt serenading Rachel to the song Latch by Sam Smith while his brother played the keyboard. His singing voice was AMAZING and the surprise moment brought Rachel to tears. What an amazing way to end the night!
