What a gorgeous fall day this was celebrating Rachel and Matt! This day was decorated with classic beauty and was filled with touching emotion. These two opted not to do a First Look until they saw one another at the altar at the Basilica of St. Mary. Even though the classic First Look was missing, Rachel had some of the best moments with her bridesmaids and father seeing her for the first time.unique flare to this midwest wedding. They were welcomed into their reception with trumpets and led right into their first dance, where they welcomed all their guests to join and party with them before dinner service even began. The evening ended with Matt serenading Rachel to the song Latch by Sam Smith while his brother played the keyboard. His singing voice was AMAZING and the surprise moment brought Rachel to tears. What an amazing way to end the night!
Ashley and Alex are married…again! In a world post-COVID restrictions and lockdowns, so many of my couples are finally getting a chance to host their larger celebrations of marriage after a longggg wait, Ashley and Alex are no exception! These two officially tied the knot last August with just family. Finally, on May 21st, they were able to celebrate with their friends and family at the beautiful Bavaria Downs and host a vow renewal for everyone to see. Even though they’ve been through it once, their celebration was just as emotional and special the second time around.
A SNOWY October day was the backdrop for Nicole and Pat’s wedding! And it was magic. Let me tell you about Nicole and Pat. She’s sweet as can be, he’s got fun energy, and they both adore each other. Since we had a snowy day and they had their wedding at the beautiful Legacy Hill Farm, I decided to keep my couple warm and do the majority of their photos at their reception space. And I think it was kind of wonderful! Take a peek at their wedding photos, and tell me if you agree!
