MR AND MRS KUCHERA!!! This is a hard day to try and summarize. I don’t think I’ve ever been so touched, cried so many times, or laughed as hard as I did at this wedding. Courtney and Derick’s wedding was filled with joy, laughter and camaraderie with family and friends. One of the most important and touching elements of the day was the way in which they remembered Courtney’s father who had passed. His presence was felt all day long, and I still have tears thinking about the ways in which they honored him during the speeches, the father – daughter dance with Derick’s father stepping in (the honor on his face when he was asked, and the way in which he honored her father was so beautiful – see the photos below), carrying his thumbprint on her bouquet, and the list goes on. This beautiful couple understands each other on a deep level. Their love is so pure and rooted. I can’t wait to see the things that they do in this world together.
A gorgeous lakeside wedding fit for a real-life Disney princess, what an amazing day this was!! Cassie and Brock tied the knot on a sunny June day surrounded by their family and best friends. Everything. Was. Perfect!!! We started the day with the ladies in the bridal suite as they listened to their favorite Disney playlist. The rest of the day fit the theme perfectly, with a classy off-the-shoulder ballgown, sparkly shoes, and an all-white reception space that looked like it was out of Alice and Wonderland. If you want a wedding to have a certain vibe, but want it to remain classy and timeless, take notes as you look at this blog post!
Bethany and Erik were the bow that wrapped up a crazy 2020 wedding season!! They made my last wedding of the year one to remember for all the right reasons. These two were lucky enough to tie the knot on a very rare 70 degree November day at two of my favorite venues, Blacksmith Main and Luminary in Brainerd, MN. They opted not to do a bridal party (minus a couple photos with their closest friends), and focused the day on family and one another. They even had their dog Poppy in most of the photos – I mean, a couple after my own heart! Poppy was such a good girl all day and they got lots of photos with their golden girl.
