This newborn baby girl newborn session was so special to me. I’ve been photographing the Hengel family for almost 6 years. I met them when their oldest daughter, Reagan, was just born during her Fresh 48 session and have photographed them multiple times per year, every year since then. I’ve had the absolute pleasure of watching their family grow and photographing all the milestones along the way. They’re the kind of clients that treat you like family and I’m incredibly grateful for their loyalty, kindness, and friendship.

Their newest family member, Waylon, is absolutely perfect. Dainty and sweet in every way (and looks just like her older sister as a baby!). Her nursery was out of a magazine and provided the perfect backdrop for her photos, along with big sister Reagan’s room and her parent’s bedroom. Architectural and design perfection! When Waylon had fussy moments I loved being able to capture the authentic lifestyle moments that unfolded with her older siblings. As their mom, Amanda, said when I returned the gallery “The photos are so timeless, such a good reflection of this fourth trimester slow calm with Waylon and also the chaos with 3 kids”. The beautiful chaos of life is worth capturing.
