Bohemian + Elegant Bride | Styled Shoot | Minneapolis Wedding Photography

A few months ago Brooke with Brooke Powell Photography reached out to me about mentorship. She’s a college student and has a passion for photography, but needed a little guidance on getting her business off the ground. I presented her with my paid mentorship opportunities, but being a college student it wasn’t feasible. So I dug into her website and realized she has SUCH a great eye and was a budding photog rockstar in the making, so we met for coffee! We chatted about the importance of using styled shoots as a way to propel your business and attract ideal clients, so decided as a form of mentorship I’d help her execute her first styled shoot! 

We decided to execute on two different visions. The first is a dramatic elegant bride. Taking place on beautiful quarry rock formations, the grand, blue ballgown was the perfect juxtaposition to the hard rock backdrop. The second look was a bohemian bride. Taking place in an open field, the simple white dress made the gorgeous pink flowers the star of the shoot.
