In the midst of a global health pandemic, love conquered all.
Hannah and Clint were originally supposed to tie the knot on March 28th surrounded by all of their family and friends. Two weeks prior to their wedding, COVID-19 came to Minnesota, causing the sweet couple to completely rethink the plans they had made for the wedding. They ultimately decided to utilize the rehearsal dinner space they had rented and get married the day before on Friday, March 27th, surrounded by immediate family only. A year’s worth of planning went out the window as they went full steam ahead replanning their wedding in less than 10 days.
Hair and nail salons were closed which meant no pre-wedding pampering, no friends were in attendance, they weren’t able to give grandparents a hug, but still, everything was perfect.
Hannah and Clint were able to have a really intimate exchange of vows, have deep conversations with family members, Hannah’s bridesmaids surprised her with a book of letters filled with words they would have told her had they been there in person, there was plenty of FaceTime and they even live-streamed their guests with the help of Olsen Media onto a private Facebook Page so their original guest list could see it all unfold. The best part of all?! Their new wedding date, March 27th, also happened to be their 10 year dating anniversary.
They didn’t let COVID-19 win, and their love prevailed.
Congratulations to the new Mr and Mrs Vilks. I’ll never forget your beautiful wedding day, and I know you two are in for a lifetime of happiness!
