Ashley and Alex are married!….Again!
In a world post-COVID restrictions and lockdowns, so many of my couples are finally getting a chance to host their larger celebrations of marriage after a longggg wait, Ashley and Alex are no exception! These two officially tied the knot in August of 2020 with just family. Finally, on May 21st, they were able to celebrate with their friends and family at the beautiful Bavaria Downs and host a vow renewal for everyone to see. Even though they’ve been through it once, their celebration was just as emotional and special the second time around.
Their day was filled with fun, excitement and SURPRISES! The biggest of all being Ashley’s wedding gown. Ashley had a beautiful, sleek V-neck gown for their wedding last year. She told everyone except her mom and best friend that she planned to wear that dress for this wedding as well. Little did they know, she had a NEW dress and was holding out the secret for an epic surprise! She fooled even her bridesmaids by hanging the “old” dress in the window as they got ready. So when it came time to get the dress on and have the bridesmaid reveal, it was the BEST surprise!!! So many screams! Followed by another amazing reaction from her groom during their first look. Ashley opted to wear her new ballgown-style dress for most of the day, slipping back into her original dress for the reception and sunset photos. I love a good outfit change!
Everything about their day was classic and beautiful. I’ve loved editing and re-living their day over and over. Congratulations to the beautiful couple!
