Puppies at engagement photos?! Yes please! Meet Emily and Jay. Emily has been in the bridal party of two weddings I’ve photographed and it’s always such an honor when inquiries come in from people that have seen me in action before 🙂 We’re all from the same town originally and had so many mutual connections, which made our session all the more fun. I met Emily, Jay and their puppy Ruby at Windsong Farms, a stunning golf course the bride’s parents belong to. We drove golf carts around the grounds and had such a fun evening of shooting (and puppy snuggles!).
So, you’re engaged and you’re in the trenches of planning your dream wedding. You might be scouring Pinterest and are likely gravitating towards a specific style. Do you love the boho trend? Maybe you gravitate towards rustic or modern, or if you’re like me, you love the timeless look and feel of a wedding! If timeless weddings have stopped your scroll, you’re probably looking to find ways in which your wedding can look luxurious without spending a fortune.
They did it, Sarah and Tyler are married! It’s been a whirlwind past few months for this couple. Their original plans were to get married near where they live in Minnesota, but like many other 2020 brides, COVID had different plans. They decided to move to their “Plan B” which was to get married at their rehearsal dinner space, only to find out a few weeks later that their “Plan B” wasn’t going to work out either. Finally they landed on renting out a gorgeous VRBO vacation rental property to host their wedding in Stockholm, Wisconsin. They cut down their guest list and only had immediate families in attendance, and let me tell you. It all ended up being perfect.
