I left Chrissy and Marshall’s wedding with such a big smile on my face. The love these two share is so genuine, unspoken and pure. But they also show their love through their passions, which were evident on their wedding day!
When I first met Chrissy and Marshall at a coffee shop downtown Minneapolis, they shared with me that they chose Machine Shop as their venue not only because it was beautiful, but also because it was right above the place the two of them visited together every day – their gym, Alchemy! Fitness is a passion they share and that bonds them as a couple – we even did some portraits in front of the Alchemy sign later in the evening 🙂 The second passion I witnessed was Chrissy’s talent as a calligrapher. She put SO much love into creating the invitations and all the gorgeous decor you’ll see below. SO many heart eyes. Such a talented bride! Lastly, these two are so passionate about their love for family. They planned their wedding date around Marshall’s brother who is currently serving overseas in Spain. But when the wedding day drew near, Chrissy learned that her sister was going to be 37 weeks pregnant on their wedding day, and since she’s located in New Jersey, that she unfortunately wouldn’t be able to travel to Minnesota to attend their wedding. Since family is such a priority, her sister didn’t even miss a beat – she was on FaceTime ALL day watching the events unfold, and even gave her Maid of Honor speech via Skype on a big projector screen 🙂
These two are the real deal and I was so honored to have played a small role in their love story!
Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Nelson!
