Being a wedding photographer, I attend over 30 weddings a year, so when my friends and family get engaged I tend to be a good source of information when it comes time to planning. Over the years I feel like I’ve seen or heard it all and I’ve gathered a pretty good sense for the source of wedding-related frustrations. I’m sharing key tips related to beauty, timeline, communication and priorities that you’ve probably never heard before!

Kelly and Tommy are married!! Their wedding proves that an urban wedding can still be elegant. Their venue was industrial with lots of exposed brick but was softened with hanging greenery, light linens, and white drapery. We also photographed at a mix of natural and industrial settings. Kelly’s timeless look was the perfect juxtaposition to our surroundings and created such a balanced, elegant feel to their photos.

Cody and Sarah were my first wedding of the 2019 season. I couldn’t have kicked off the year on a better note! Their wedding was timeless and elegant and their day was filled with laughter and happy tears as they were surrounded by their MANY friends and family.. They also decided to get ready at one of the coolest getting ready spaces, some of my favorite getting ready photos to date!
