What a gorgeous fall day this was celebrating Rachel and Matt! This day was decorated with classic beauty and was filled with touching emotion. These two opted not to do a First Look until they saw one another at the altar at the Basilica of St. Mary. Even though the classic First Look was missing, Rachel had some of the best moments with her bridesmaids and father seeing her for the first time.unique flare to this midwest wedding. They were welcomed into their reception with trumpets and led right into their first dance, where they welcomed all their guests to join and party with them before dinner service even began. The evening ended with Matt serenading Rachel to the song Latch by Sam Smith while his brother played the keyboard. His singing voice was AMAZING and the surprise moment brought Rachel to tears. What an amazing way to end the night!

Would it be weird if I printed off Emma and Connor’s photos and plastered them all over my house!? Asking for a friend 😉 Everyone, meet the Warrick’s!! THIS WEDDING! So much obsession. So elegant and unique but in a timeless way. Something that’s so hard to execute! Emma works in the fashion industry and wore one of my favorite gowns of all time, off the shoulder with pearls throughout – the fun part, she’s the first bride to EVER wear this dress! Not only did she have one stunning gown, but she changed into a second gown for the dance which was filled with feathers! So much personality in their design mixed with so much heart on their wedding day. These two are incredible people and I was so lucky to have been able to work with them. I was even more appreciative when they were so understanding in my plans for maternity leave. I had to have an associate step in for their wedding day, but thankfully I was able to escape the house for a bit to come at the beginning of the day to see some of the major events unfold.

There’s just something about a sunny summer day, a sweet couple, and a killer wardrobe that make me really appreciate and I love my job! April and Ryan are engaged and planning a summer 2020 wedding. We all ventured up to Waite Park, MN to photograph at one of my favorite spots, the Quarry Nature Reserve. Beaming sunshine and a romantic wardrobe make for timeless engagement photos.
