This wedding was nothing short of incredible!! Sarah and Michael were one of the first weddings to take place at Bavaria Down’s newest venue, Equestria West. When they toured the venue they felt inspired by the courtyard area and decided to have the reception outside under string lights. It turned out BEAUTIFUL and the only way to truly give the design justice was to photograph it from the sky. I love being able to utilize my drone and showcase a wedding day from a different perspective. Aside from the uniqueness of the courtyard reception, the details of this wedding were impeccable. From the ceremony in a wooded forest, to the velvet table numbers, everything was perfection.
Kayla and Chase radiate joy and happiness and this wedding was the perfect showcase of their energy! Try to look through these photos and not smile. It’s impossible! Their wedding was at the beautiful Willow Brooke Farm in Red Wing and we had the perfect summer day. During the planning process they made it clear that they wanted to focus their day on spending time with their people and for candid moments to shine, hoping to omit any formal photos. The photos you see of the groomsman, bridesmaids and full bridal party were each taken in 5 minutes. Can you believe it!? When you have that much natural energy and joy, candid and fun prompts can lead to some of the most amazing still shots. They truly got to spend the majority of their day with their guests, family and friends.
Shannon and Kevin are married! My favorite part about this wedding was the color! The color of the florals, the color of the bridesmaid dresses, the color of the furniture in the bride’s home that they got ready in. The colors were the perfect backdrop to the natural look of Ashery Lane Farm. The pops of greenery from the vineyards and white rustic barn set the most idyllic scene! My second favorite element? Shannons smile the whole day. It was contagious! My associate Malorie did a wonderful job capturing their day.
